Journaling about Success

There are times when we don’t feel successful. We feel like nothing is going right and these are the times when we need something to pick us up. The good news is that we can pick ourselves up by journaling about our success, however small. Success begets success.

What are some of your recent success stories or even not so recent? They don’t have to be huge. They can be personal or professional. We can find success all around us. It could be that your success is losing some weight, completing an important project at work, competing in a marathon or just about anything that gives a sense of accomplishment.

By writing down our success stories we inspire ourselves to more success. Writing down success should be a habit because with this active and deliberate ritual we constantly remind ourselves of what we can do and what we are able to accomplish. In the times when we don’t feel like we are doing well we can turn to our journals and remind ourselves of how successful we can be.

Over time writing down our success can be essential in our personal development. This is so because when we look at our past success, we might start planning for more success and plan the ways in which we will achieve this.

There is nothing to lose and everything to gain. Start journaling about your success today.

Remember there is nothing like words in black and white to help you see where you are and where you are going.
