Write Your Thoughts

Journaling for Gratitude

“If you count all your assets, you always show a profit.”
-Robert Quillen-

There are millions of reasons why we should give thanks; we don’t even have to look too hard for motivation. First of all there is today, a brand new day and we are alive! If that’s not exciting news; I don’t know what is. Sure there are bad days when things don’t go so well but for every situation that we are in, there is a worse situation that we can think of. On the bad days it can help if we journal our thoughts about what we have to give thanks for.

Similarly on great days we should write down the things we are grateful for so that we develop a constant attitude of gratitude. Everything gets better with practice especially in a hectic life. In these acts of writing down our thanks we reflect with a deeper understanding on what we have and the fortunate positions that we are in.

In addition to seeing our blessings in black and white, we attract more when we show appreciation for the ones we have. Instead of lack we invite abundance. This habit of not just giving thanks but writing it down can be transforming because of the internal change in how we perceive our own truth. As we focus more on our prosperity, we become much more hopeful and good things start to happen.

Let us write our thanks and see how the universe responds to us.

Remember there is nothing like words in black and white to help you see where you are and where you are going.
